The Carolina Panthers have named Dave Canales as their new head coach.
The 42 year-old Canales was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Offensive Coordinator and got accolades for turning around the career of Baker Mayfield. Canales will face the task in turning 2023 number-one overall pick Bryce Young into the player that warranted being the top selection.
Canales was on the Seahawks coaching staff from 2010-2022 before running the Tampa Bay offense.
