The Dallas Cowboys have named former Vikings coach and former Cowboys Defensive Coordinator Mike Zimmer as once against their DC.
Zimmer, 67 worked for the Cowboys from 2000-2005 and was the Vikings head man from 2014-2021 where he compiled a record of 73-56 with three appearances. In 2017 the Vikings made the NFC Championship before falling to eventual Super Bowl champion Philadelphia.
Zimmer replaces Dan Quinn, who took the Washington Commanders Head Coaching job. Most recently Zimmer was a consultant for Jackson State who was coached by Deion Sanders who played for Zimmer with the Cowboys.
