Just two days after the stunning retirement of Nick Saban, Alabama named Washington head coach Kalen DeBoer the new coach of the Crimson Tide.
DeBoer led the Huskies to the National Championship game before losing to Michigan this past Monday. DeBoer, 49, was 25-3 in two years at Washington. Previously DeBoer coached at Fresno State and Sioux Falls. He won three NAIA titles at Sioux Fall and has a coaching record of 104-12.
