The Baltimore Orioles acquired 2021 Cy Young Award winner Corben Burnes from the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Brewers received infielder Joey Oriz, left-hand pitcher DL Hall and the 34th pick in the 2024 draft.
Burnes, 29 has pitched for the Brewers since being a fourth round pick in 2016. He made his major league debut in 2018 and has gone 45-27 with a 3.26 ERA in six-seasons.
Ortiz, 25 has had only 33 at-bats and has hit .212 with four RBI’s.
Hall, 25 has appeared in 29 games between 2022 and 2023 with one start. He has a career record of 4-1 with a 4.36 ERA. He has 42 strikeouts in 33 innings.
