The Milwaukee Bucks have fired head coach Adrian Griffin despite going 30-13 in his 43 games in his first year.

Rumors surfacing around the NBA say that Griffin’s message did not resonate with team which includes star players Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard.

Joe Prunty will be named interim coach, but that may be short lived as former championship coach and current ESPN analyst Doc Rivers is at the top of the Bucks list to replace Griffin. Rivers has been dabbling in a consultant role wit the Bucks.
