Noah Song Released from Navy; Will Report to Philles

Hard throwing right-hand pitcher Noah Song was released from his duties in the Naval Academy and will be able to pitch this year.

Song was selected by The Philadelphia Phillies in the Rule-5 Draft in December and must make the opening day roster. Song was a highly regarded prospect in the Red Sox organization. In 2019, he was denied a waiver to pitch in the minor leagues.
